Great Smoky Mountains National Park
GSMNP is "that place" for me where I can escape the everyday stress that life brings. It has served as a retreat for me since 1997 when I moved back to Ohio from Washington State. I was just starting to get serious about photography and the thought of moving from the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest made me wonder what would happen to my desire to become a great photographer. The Smokies have proven to be a great solution to that dilemma. I have spent a lot of time in these mountains working on my skills as a photographer and learning the nuances of this diverse ecosystem. I hope the images in this gallery portray my love and appreciation for one of the most beautiful places on Earth.Read More
